Semi Permanent is an annual creative conference run by Design is Kinky. The event boasts internationally renowned speakers from a diverse range of creative fields including graphic design, film making, visual effects, motion graphics, animation, street art, illustration, photography, fine art and much more.

Since 2003 there have been Semi Permanent events in Sydney, Auckland, Perth, London and New York.

Each year a Semi Permanent book is published to accompany the conference featuring a selection of work by international creatives. The Semi Permanent 2006 book featuring 3 poster illustrations by Studio MIKMIK can be bought directly from the Design is Kinky online shop and from other stockists.
