Logo design

JD73 is the brainchild of Leeds based musician and producer Dan Goldman. A regular face on the UK music scene for over 10 years, Dan has spent the last 7 years playing keyboards on tour and in the studio with trip hop pioneers Morcheeba (Echo Records) whilst helping produce demos for artists such as Corinne Bailey Rae (EMI) and The Music.

The JD73 logo was developed to compliment the electro funk, jazz funk sound of JD73. For the version shown here subtle, muted colours were used to give an aged, retro feel to the logo itself and the vinyl artwork.

The versatile 'peeling sticker' format allows the logo to be added to any JD73 artwork in a way that appears random with each usage while keeping a recognisable consistency.
