JD73 is the brainchild of Leeds based musician and producer Dan Goldman. A regular face on the UK music scene for over 10 years, Dan has spent the last 7 years playing keyboards on tour and in the studio with trip hop pioneers Morcheeba (Echo Records) whilst helping produce demos for artists such as Corinne Bailey Rae (EMI) and The Music.

For the Electro Boogie cover artwork a custom hand-drawn type was used as the focal point for the cover blended with a subtle, muted colour set to give the sleeve design an aged, retro feel. The type style and colour choice aided the artwork in complimenting both the electro funk sound and the new JD73 logo in its first outing.

The JD73 logo uses a versatile 'peeling sticker' format allowing it to be added to any JD73 artwork in a way that can appear random with each usage while keeping a recognisable consistency.
