Lotherton Hall

Lotherton Hall
Identity, print and signage Lotherton Hall is operated by Leeds Museums and Galleries and is an Edwardian country house set in wonderful parkland which is home to a treasure trove of arts, crafts and music. Each Year Lotherton Hall hosts a year long exhibition within its grand interior. This year saw Lotherton Hall open its doors to Fashion Revolution – British Style of the 1960s and 1970s. On display are a wide selection of iconic garments by Mary Quant, Bill Gibb, Zandra Rhodes, Biba, Jean Muir and many more. The identity and signage draws inspiration from the detailed embroidery and trims found on the garments of the era. Bright, vibrant colours burst out from subtle, beautiful photographs of the collection shot against the grandeur of Lotherton’s bedrooms, hallways, drawing rooms and manicured grounds.Studio MIKMIK worked in collaboration with photographer Lisa Stonehouse.

The exhibition is open to the public from 1st March – 31st December 2009.
